Ever wonder,

What is a healthy relationship?

What does it look and feel like?

A healthy relationship is where one feels safe and comfortable. A relationship where you take time to get to know each other and share the real you. Although no relationship is perfect, a healthy relationship is based on good communication, trust and respect. Healthy relationships come in many forms; friends, family and romantic, just to name a few.

Ho'ohiki Pilina Program

We all want youth to be ready to experience healthy and happy relationships. From finding strong friendships, all the way to navigate relationships. HPP will help youth build practical skills and knowledge to strengthen their future.

Youth enrolled and completing the IN-PERSON class will receive a $100 AMAZON-Gift Card.

Youth must attend all 3 LIVE ZOOM classes to get the $100 AMAZON-Gift Card.

We all carry baggage from the past!
“I’m glad I took this class, it helped me learn so much about how relationships should be, I found out that everyone carries baggage from the past. Some are good, some are bad.

I learned about my baggage, where it came from, and how to get rid of it."
Never Lower My Expectations anymore!
“I’ve taken Family Studies before when I was in the 9th grade. I thought the class was pretty boring back then and didn’t really learn anything from it because I probably thought the way I was acting in my past relationships was ok. I feel that I am more mature now and I can actually use a lot of this new information and different ways to complain, listen, and view my expectations. I’ve learned to never lower my expectations for anyone, because most of the time we all deserve more than that. You’ve also taught me to value myself more and to not just give myself to the first person who gives me attention."

How do we do that?

Helping youth to envision their best future and create a plan to help them successfully move towards that future.

Interactive in person classes using The Love Notes evidence based curriculum.

We combine small group and big group discussion and conversation, with fun hands on activities, providing workbooks to keep after the class is done.

We cover relevant topics:

  • communication skills and techniques
  • setting your personal boundaries
  • how to identify unhealthy and unsafe relationships
  • conflict resolution
  • and many more.

Included is a Trusted Adult Activity for each lesson. Studies show that juveniles need at least one healthy stable adult relationship in their life to bring balance and safety. The Trusted Adult Activities design is to help adults to engage with their youth.

Helping you to envision your best future.
